The Nook was founded by local singer-songwriter Teddy Tolar out of a desire to shake up Danville's nightlife and give regional musicians a dedicated home. As a performer himself, Teddy envisioned a venue designed with the artist in mind—a welcoming, inclusive space with high-caliber talent, great sound, and a judgment-free crowd. From acoustic showcases to late-night DJ sets, Teddy’s hands-on dedication has turned The Nook into a premier regional destination for live music, arcade games, and good times.
